I've always wanted to go to some mysterious places and I think I found one!
Before packing, you should include these: A jerkin and Shoe is enough to go. And if you could afford, a parachute would be nice!
The hill is exactly in the shape of a "Nandhi" and it is 4500 ft height !!!
Someone warned me about the trekking, but I didn't care about the danger. The whole travel was a mind blowing spiritual experience!
Me and my friend went to kadaladi by bus and walked a mile or more, started our trekking.
The route kadaldi was very lonely and those who likes the idea, can choose this path- No monkey, no disturbance, no whatsoever.
During our trekking, my friend found a theory- "Hill-top" theory :- You would think that you are going to the top of the hill within a few steps or minute. Wrong! You will never reach fast as you think. It is the "fake-water" of the mysterious mountain. The route from Thenmaathi managalam was not so difficult.
Two roads diverged in an yellow wood,
I took the one less traveled by
And that made all the difference!!!
While climbing via the so called "kadapaarai" path, I realized something. Before started planning, I have read some blog articles, talked some and I thought it would be an easy job.
But again proved wrong. The reality is totally different.
We walked so so slowly and reached the top within 4 hours!
You can stay at night in the "Dhyana Mandapa" and can get prasadha for all day and night.
You will like the people there and as well as climate there.
We took the other path for climbing down- thenmaathi mangalam path.
In my way down, I saw a three or four year old child and lot of women devotees in all the ages, Men at all the ages going upwards.
People comes there all the time like 2' in the morning. Saturday and Sunday would be nice to go there. Or you may seem very lonely even without any shops.
Journey downward will only take less than 3 hours.
A car would make the journey much more sweet. But buses will be ok iff you don't mind the head-ache.
People that went before you made the place more comfortable and we could do the same to the people that comes after us. Whatever you can, contribute something to the temple and please don't pollute the place.
There is always something more than just words. It can't be blogged.
Everyone, whatever their religion is, should go to this place once in their lifetime.
